Ekonsepto is a non-profit organization aiming to expand economics literacy by creating community-oriented and relevant content and building collaborative spaces with the Filipino youth to open economics for everyone.
Started in 2020 as a "pandemic brain child", it has since gained 5,000+ followers, issued more than 50 infographic primers in Taglish, and hosted over 10 events reaching youth all over the country.
It is also affiliated as the Rethinking Economics - National Network of the Philippines.

November 12, 2021 | In line with the celebration of the 2021 Economic and Financial Literacy Week, the National Economic and Development Authority conducted a plenary session featuring Ekonsepto at the 59th PES Annual Meeting and Conference (via Zoom) titled, AmBisyon Natin 2040 in the New Normal, on 12 November 2021 (Thursday) from 01:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
This session intends to reinforce the focus and expand the conversation on AmBisyon Natin 2040 and explore and discuss challenges, opportunities, and strategies that will inform the next Philippine Development Plan.
Ekonsepto conducted a focus group discussion with the youth on their plight as students and young professionals during the time of COVID-19.
